I'm here to teach. And to learn.

Once we move beyond the basics of earning a paycheck, why do I show up for work every day?

Simple. I want to learn. And I want to teach.

My "job satisfaction" is directly related to the amount of learning and teaching opportunities I encounter. Why? Because I have accumulated a lot of interesting knowledge over the years. A lot of experience in dealing with people and situations. And despite all that experience, there are things that I have yet to learn - I know that every day brings an opportunity to learn something new.

The worst environment for me is: no ability to share my knowledge and experience, and no opportunities to learn anything new.
